International Corporate Governance

The course aims to give thorough insights in different approaches to corporate governance structures, and an understanding of EU and US regulations on corporate governance issues, various codes of conducts and corporate social responsibility.

The participant will obtain knowledge of various governance models in the large EU countries (including Scandinavia), the US and a selection of Asian countries. Furthermore, the participants are provided with the competences necessary to deal comfortably with the legal/governance issues that may arise in connection to corporate structures in these jurisdictions. In addition, the participants of the course will be able to identify relevant issues in - and sources of - modern corporate governance.
